Refrigerant R404 is a gas refrigerante for R22 refrigerant replacement, and a hydrofluorocarbon mixed of three refrigerants which are R-125(44 percent ) , R134a(52 percent ) and R143a(4 percent ), most new supermarket and refrigeration equipment has been built for an HFC such as R404A refrigerant, R507a, or R407A where R-502 was previously used. Whilst it has become the widely accepted alternative to CFC R502.
